MINU was born from a simple idea: to transform a space so that it feels warmer, more natural, and inviting.
It all started on the terrace of a family home in the Mediterranean. We had installed a contemporary pergola which, although functional, didn't quite integrate with the rustic character of the surroundings. The space needed more than just light; it needed texture, warmth, and personality.
That was when I started experimenting with natural jute and artisanal crochet techniques to create the first lamps. Pieces capable of softening colder materials, filtering light naturally, and providing a sense of calm inspired by Mediterranean life.
What began as a solution for our own home became a collection of handmade lamps, designed to dress spaces with authenticity and create environments where you want to stay.
At MINU, we believe in natural materials, in objects that tell a story, and in the beauty of items crafted with time and dedication. That is why every lamp is handmade, one by one, maintaining the essence with which the first one was born.

At MINU, we believe that materials play an essential role in the beauty and personality of each piece.
We work with natural jute rope, a plant fiber that stands out for its texture, durability, and warm tone. We craft it by hand using crochet, transforming a simple material into a unique piece, with shapes and textures that make each lamp slightly different.
Jute provides a natural and timeless aesthetic, and as light passes through it, it creates a warm and delicate illumination that helps transform the atmosphere.
We also carefully select the components that accompany each lamp, seeking to ensure that functionality, quality, and aesthetics are in harmony with the handcrafted piece.
